HOW TO SAVE A SCREEN IMAGE
A screen image (often called a screen dump
or screen snapshot) is a file that contains
a pixel-by-pixel image
of all or part of the screen that
was visible at the instant at which the image was copied from the
framebuffer into a file.
The following links give information on making a screen snapshot
in each of the three major operating systems used in this course.
Windows 3.1/95
MacOS System 7/8
SPARC Solaris 2.x
