Many years ago, at the University of Alabama, when the U-100 terminal I was working started acting up, I noticed that the guy sitting next to me was a systems engineer. So, I got his attention, and pointed at the screen. He simply reached over, and whacked the side of the case, everything worked fine for a while. When it started acting up again, I reached up, and imitated his action. He turned and looked at me rather hard, and I rather sheepishly said, "Well, I just did what you did." He fixed me with an icy stare, and thundered, "But *I* have a DEGREE in engineering!" Man, I miss those days.......
