Oh, *verrrry* good. Let me try: L: "I'm Diesl, I'm sixteen, and I don't need a governess." M: "Well, Diesl, maybe we could just be friends then." Oh, yeah, I've heard *that* line before. From there, it was only a hop, skip and a jump to the bedroom scene. From memory, her siblings were Brigitta, Frederick, Kurt, Gretel and, um, um... Could have sworn I knew them all. I can *picture* them all, and even their associated personalities. Sad, isn't it? Being a mad keen Addams Family fan (duh) I feel an overwhelming need to share that my favourite moment in "Addams Family Values" is when the summer camp leaders decide to "re-educate" Wednesday, Pugsley and Joel. As the children huddle together in terror, there emerges the strains of - "The hills are alive..." [But we know what they were really re-educating them about, don't we, boys and girls? Fancy exposing children to a hotbed of sin and vice like that. Out with the pokers...] > "pokers and handcuffs and lacy black dresses > meekly submitting to stern governesses > hot melting candles and leather g-strings > these are a few of my favourite things"... Oh yes. Yes. No wonder Diesl also fancied Nazis. Leo, that is a work of true poetry. I am, ah, moved... So, with blushing shyness and with the sense that a newbie shouldn't be doing this - will you marry me? [1] [signature deleted] [1] Maybe, in fairness, I should warn you about the judo flips thing... To quote the programme guide on Ophelia: "Men *really* fall for her."
