The program being talked about here is designed to exploit a bug in the Pentium chip and crash the computer.] Subject: Re: News: Pentium bug surfaces From: "Alfredo Capri" Newsgroups: onenet.help David: For some reason I am unable to to get the KILLME.EXE program to crash my Intel 200 Mhz Pentium with MMX. When the program is run I see a window flash on the screen for a fraction of a second then disappear. Everything then continues to run fine as if nothing has taken place. In your original post you stated that file type was a DOS binary. Does this mean that it will nor run under Windows? As mentioned before, I am using a Inter Pentium with MMX, along with Windows 95 and Internet Explorer 4.0 with active desktop turned on. Maybe there is a bug in IE4 that is keeping other programs from crashing my system. In any case, what is the customer support number for the KILLME.EXE program? David Hensley wrote in message...
