Having read the posts to date on this thread, and having participated in this discussion here several times before, I think the wrong question is being asked -- or at least the wrong answer is always given. The real question should be why there are so many _guys_ that juggle or that join juggling clubs -- and the answer is that most of us guys have a much broader sexual inclination than we admit to others or to ourselves, given current social attitudes, and juggling allows men to join together without the usual social stigma. Quite simply, us guys are attracted to each other, and whining about the lack of females is just a way of denying this fact. We're fags. Really. Think about it. The same perspective works for "why are there so few women in body building?" -- but there the answer is so obvious that no one bothers to deny it. Nobody really _needs_ to juggle, and while it's an interesting way to spend one's time, it's not _that_ interesting. What juggling really is is a way for guys to signal other guys that they are interested in hanging out. Women recognize this and allow us our privacy. Sure, some of us are probably straight (I prefer the term `choice- limited') but this is probably a very small proportion of male jugglers.
