Do you REALISE what you are SAYING? You are proposing to take a quasi-artifact magical scroll of incredible power, and feed it into a machine, which will read the scroll, pass the information on to the nearest telephone exchange, which will repeat the process all the way to germany, retransmitting the scroll's contents in dozens of steps. WHAT IF YOU SENT A CURSED ONE??? Just think what would happen! The global telephone network is already only a few steps away from being a WMoPC, and it doesn't need more... Hey, maybe this is how Usenet started! On a brighter note, a blessed one might be nice... "You fax the blessed scroll of chaos resistance. The network seems cleansed! The 1-900 numbers disappear! The telemarketers no longer seem so persistant!..."
