From: Aaron B Simpson Newsgroups: utd.flame Subject: Snack of Evil. Date: 26 Jun 1998 16:58:45 GMT Well, I didn't feel like patiently waiting another hour until lunch, so I visited the snack machine above the lab. I should have gone with my trusted staple, a Snickers, but curiosity got the best of me. There was something new there, called "Banana Dream", an "artificially flavored cake" from the Dolly Madison Bakery. It's more like a nightmare. It's basically a taco-shaped, banana-flavored twinkie, that sucks in so many ways. The poorly banana flavored cake is dry and grainy. The "cream" filling seems to be nothing more than barely whipped sugar. The only apparent benefit from the filling is to keep you from choking to death on the cake. It left a horrible taste in my mouth, and I am now looking very much forward to my free Dr. Pepper from the survey guys in the library. To add insult to injury, two packages behind my purchase was something chocolate, probably something actually tasty, like Ding Dongs, dammit. Do NOT eat these vile things. If you have extra change, buy them, and throw them away, to save your fellow students. I am very disappointed with Dolly Madison right now. -- Aaron B.
